Supporting Design Innovation
The White Room Challenge — Up-and-coming and established designers from around the country compete to create the most original, eccentric and outrageous room designs starting with a blank canvas. Hosted by David Bromstad, the show has used Werner ladders since their premier 2012 season.

Cousins on Call! — The Kitchen Cousins are back with a new show. Real-life cousins and best friends Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri of Brunelleschi Construction are upgrading outdated and dysfunctional homes. And Werner ladders are there to help.

The Antonio Treatment — Designer Antonio Ballatore, who won season 4 of HGTV's reality show "Design Star," transforms lackluster rooms into radically original spaces. Werner ladders are featured in most episodes, helping with remodeling and painting jobs. The show premiered January, 2010.

Outdoor Room — Focusing specifically on turning dreary backyards into dreamy retreats, designer Jamie Durie leads the renovation team in this show.

Hot Set
Hot Set is an extreme design challenge. Each week, two Hollywood production designers create, build, and decorate an original movie set. Werner ladders are used extensively during the build and strike of every set design. The show premiered September, 2012. Production company: Mission Control Media. Executive producers: Michael Agbabian and Dwight Smith.

Discovery Channel

Unchained Reaction
Werner ladders can be seen on UNCHAINED REACTION, which premiered March, 2012. Executive producers Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman (of Discovery's "MythBusters") judge two teams which, using ingenuity, innovation, and know-how, build elaborate chain reaction contraptions.

Project Runway
Werner ladders appeared in a supporting role in Lifetime's Project Runway as the teams prepared for a photo shoot.

Green Star Movement

Green Star Movement inspires students and community members to design and realize public art.
Changing The Urban Canvas
Green Star Movement, a 501 (c)3 non profit, inspires students and community members to design and realize public art. This interactive process builds teamwork and self esteem in the participants, and revitalizes urban neighborhoods.

It is our priority to work with schools that lack the funds needed to support educational arts-based programming. The creation of public art not only beautifies a neighborhood but prevents crumbling infrastructures, which is often a symptom of low-income neighborhoods. Providing a link between the individual, the social, the historical and the imaginary.

Spartan Race

Obstacle Racing Challenge
Spartan Race™, the global leader in Obstacle Racing since 2005, was designed by seven insane ultra-athletes and a Royal Marine. If you have tried trail races, mud runs, tough mudder runs, or a warrior dash, it's time to step up to a brutal Spartan Race obstacle course. Are you unbreakable?
Different types of ladders are designed to keep you safe and productive when climbing or standing. Using the wrong style of ladder or simply ignoring the limitations of climbing equipment can result in a fall or serious injury.
Height is referring to the actual ladder height. Extension ladders should be 7 to 10 feet longer than the highest support or contact point, which may be the wall or roof line. The highest standing level is four rungs down from the top. The highest permitted standing level on a stepladder is two steps down from the top.

Reach height is the maximum reach assuming a 5’6” person with a vertical 12” reach.
Ladders are designed to safely hold up to a specific amount of weight. The Werner Performance System defines five different capacities using a color and star rating system. The Duty Rating is defined as the maximum safe load capacity of the ladder. A person’s fully clothed weight plus the weight of any tools and materials that are carried onto the ladder must be less than the load capacity.

Werner offers ladder made from fiberglass and aluminum. Each material has characteristics which make it best for certain applications, or one material may simply fit the personal preferences of the user. For example, if working around electricity users should select fiberglass products due to their non-conductive side rails.
